Wildcats Gold tied for 5th out of 75 of some of the best fastpitch softball teams up and down the East Coast! Wildcats were the only New Jersey team to place in the top 10 and we’re pretty sure we were the only Jersey team left on the last day of play, Sunday. On Saturday we only lost to the Gold Coast Hurricanes – Fisher 3-2, and they went 8-0 and finished 1st.

Played on Sunday in an unusual – even for Myrtle Beach in July – 131 degrees! on the turf (measured by tournament officials on Sunday 7/31)… Coach Frazer said the rubber on his sneakers was actually starting to get soft. It was hot and humid, but the Wildcats Gold ladies stayed strong and persevered through very tough conditions and competition. Nice job ladies!
